I was born and raised in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. I graduated from Edcouch-Elsa High School and then attended the University of Corpus Christi. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, TX.
I have been married to Ron Morgan for over 55 years and we have two grown married children. We also have 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
